Anthem Entertainment acquires the catalog of Chantal Kreviazuk, songs that have amassed ‘billions of streams.’

Independent music company Anthem Entertainment has announced the acquisition of the catalog of hit songs written by Canadian singer-songwriter Chantal Kreviazuk. The catalog includes Kreviazuk’s recordings like “Boot,” “In This Life,” “Time,” “Weight of the World,” and “Get to You,” as well as certified hits and collaborations recorded by Christina Aguilera, Kelly Clarkson, Drake, Avril Lavigne, Pitbull, Shakira, Britney Spears, Gwen Stefani, Carrie Underwood, and many more.

Comprising several hit songs that have garnered worldwide success and collectively billions of streams, Kreviazuk’s catalog is a diverse collection of music, including the hit “Feel This Moment” by Pitbull and Christina Aguilera, and “Rich Girl” by Gwen Stefani. The acquisition further solidified Anthem Entertainment’s investment in the future of music publishing and recorded music rights, aligning with their mission to expand their impact and contribution toward pop culture.

“Chantal Kreviazuk is one of the most prolific and successful Canadian songwriters recognized today on the international stage,” said Anthem Entertainment CEO, Jason Klein. “Her extraordinary songs have not only achieved outstanding commercial success but have meaningfully influenced popular culture with a significant impact across music, film, and philanthropy, and are a prized addition to our catalog. We look forward to a great partnership with Chantal.”

“I am thrilled to begin a new and exciting partnership with Jason and the team at Anthem Entertainment, to represent songs that I have been writing throughout my whole life and career,” said Kreviazuk. “Our shared passion and enthusiasm for the work I value so dearly was made clear from our very first conversation, and I am grateful to begin this new chapter together.”

Kreviazuk made her full-length debut in 1997 with “Under These Rocks and Stones.” Since then, the Winnipeg-born musician — a classically trained pianist, actress, movie producer, philanthropist, and humanitarian — has recorded ten albums, including a live album, a holiday album, and a collaboration with her husband and Our Lady Peace frontman, Raine Maida, under the name Moon vs. Sun.

In 2014, Kreviazuk was awarded the Order of Canada alongside Maida for their collective efforts to raise awareness and support for human and animal rights, mental health, education, and the environment.
