Daze Between New Orleans Drops 2024 Artist Lineup: Gov’t Mule & Friends, Lettuce and More

Daze Between New Orleans has announced its stacked 2024 artist lineup. The annual Crescent City event is slated to occur over two days, from April 30 through May 1, during the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival at Faubourg Brewing Co. The impending bill presents a variety of talented acts that will evoke the spirit of collaboration. 

Leading the lineup for Tuesday, April 30, is funk maestros Lettuce, who have added a special guest to their traditional staged setup, tapping guitarist John Scofield to take part in their frame. The initial day of Daze Between New Orleans will also present music courtesy of the city’s own Dirty Dozen Brass Band and the instrumental stylings of the Krasno/Moore Project.

Tuesday’s bill extends to include a broad genre-bending display from Dogs in a Pile before Cool Cool Cool ignites a party on stage with their approach to funk, R&B and soul. Closing out the first-day lineup is The Rumble, featuring Chief Joseph Boudreaux. Fronting the lineup for Wednesday, May 1, is an all-star display of talent, arranged under Gov’t Mule with special guests John Scofield, Chuck Leavell, Ivan Neville, Karl Denson, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band and Daniel Donato. 

The second and final day of the event will also boast sets from Galactic featuring Anjelika Jelly Joseph, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country, Karina Rykman and The Iceman Special. In addition to live music, Daze Between New Orleans will offer craft beer, local vendors, food trucks and more. 

Daze Between New Orleans takes place on two stages, where artists can explore the realms of jam, jazz, folk, funk, and more to create a layered musical experience that reflects the city’s eclectic nature. Apart from music, the two-day event offers various beer selections and traditional cuisine akin to the region. 

Tickets for the 2024 edition of Daze Between New Orleans go on sale tomorrow at 11 a.m. C.T., a portion of proceeds will benefit NOLA-based nonprofits through the Rex Foundation.
