Aussie Rock Icons Radio Birdman Announce 2024 Tour Dates
Radio Birdman are gearing up for their (possibly final ever?) Australian tour. The legendary Aussie punk act, who inspired the likes of Midnight Oil and the Hoodoo Gurus, are celebrating 50 years as a band with a string of live shows across June and July of 2024.
The veteran act will play two shows apiece in Melbourne (supported by their local protégés CIVIC), Brisbane (supported by Hits) and Sydney (supported by Hard-Ons) plus one show in Adelaide (supports TBA).

The ARIA Hall of Fame inductees are billing the shows as “farewell performances”, but whether or not the tour will indeed mark their final swansong remains to be seen.
“The rationale is to go out there and have at least one more Australian tour and say goodbye to the fans properly,” songwriter and guitarist Deniz Tek told The Guardian, adding: “You never know for sure”.
While singer Rob Younger added: “It’s supposed to be [the last tour], yeah. But, I mean, I wouldn’t want to sign anything in blood”.
To coincide with the new dates, the band’s 2014 album Live At Paddington Town Hall 12th December 1977 will be reissued by Citadel Records.
