It’s almost time to raise your glasses high and toast to another season of Vanderpump Rules. Season 11 premieres on Tuesday (Jan. 30) on Bravo.
The gang’s back together for a new season, but things have shifted in the group after last season’s cheating drama. According to the episode description, in the premiere of the new season, Ariana Madix “puts on brave face and attempts to rebuild” her life after Tom Sandoval’s infidelity, Tom Schwartz tries to “make peace” with his friends (including Ariana), James Kennedy settles into his new life (and new house) with Ally, Scheana Shay opens up about being diagnosed with postpartum OCD and Lala Kent “confides in Lisa Vanderpump.”
The drama from last season earned Vanderpump Rules Emmy nominations for outstanding unstructured reality program and outstanding picture editing for an unstructured reality program.
Madix described the new season as “weird and different” in an interview last month. “I know it’s going to be different,” she shared with TODAY.com. “I know it’s going to be weird, just because it felt weird and different for me.”

New to the Vanderpump Rules universe? The show became a ratings hit last year after Sandoval was exposed for cheating on Madix — his nine-year, live-in girlfriend with whom he owns a house — with former cast member Rachel Leviss. The cheating scandal broke in March 2023, causing producers to pick up the cameras again and film an additional finale episode for season 10.
The entire cast reunited for the three-part season 10 reunion, where Sandoval and Leviss attempted to explain the cheating drama. Leviss watched portions of the reunion from a nearby trailer because she and Shay were not allowed to be within 100 yards of each other at the time (Leviss filed a restraining order against her co-star, which she later dropped). Leviss has since left the show.
The reunion scored huge ratings for Bravo. Part one earned a season high of 2.036 million viewers, while episode two wracked up a 1.869 million viewers, and 1.032 million for the third episode. The season 10 finale reached a total of 4.1 million viewers, Variety reported at the time. The ratings increased from 1.8 million live viewers and a ratings spike that carried over to WWHL, which snagged a reported season high of more than 1.4 million viewers thanks to Madix.
During the WWHL interview, Madix went into detail about “Scandoval,” the reunion and trying to unload the home she shares with her former partner. “My plan is to sell the house,” she told Cohen at the time. “I want my money out of that house as quickly as possible and I want to move on.”
Despite a tricky living situation, Madix has turned heartbreak into a major payday. The 38-year-old reality star inked deals with major brands such as SoFi, Lay’s and BIC razors, and a starring role in the Broadway musical Chicago.
And she’s not done expanding her career. Madix, who plans to open a sandwich shop called Something About Her with castmate Katie Maloney, appeared in the Lifetime movie Buying Back My Daughter last year, and competed on the most recent season of Dancing With the Stars.
