SongTools has announced it has secured a $3 million funding round for its next steps in the evolution of digital music marketing.

SongTools is a web platform that enables Artists and labels to expand their audience on streaming platforms (like Apple Music & Spotify) by providing one-click advertising solutions. This capital raise propels the NY-based startup and establishes it as a key player in a fiend where over 120,000 new songs are released per day. SongTools says its aim is to make music promotion more accessible for both artists and labels.

It’s platform features the largest playlisting network in the world, with more than 120 million followers. It also integrates seamless, one-click social media advertising campaigns for its users. The approach has proven effective and has helped more than 60,000 artists and 6,000 music composers to expand their audience reach.

SongTools says this funding round will be used to “embark on an ambitious journey to overhaul music marketing in 2024.” The company aims to cater to both record labels and independent artists with customized advertisting campaigns. The initiative is supported with the addition of strategic advisors including Jimmy Mikaoui (Co-Founder: Marathon Music Group), Sat Bisla (Founder: Musexpo, A&R Worldwide), Ric Fernandez (Former GM: RCA, Geffen), and Lucas von Cranach (Founder: OneFootball).

“In an era where the market is saturated with more Artists but less tools for their growth, we are revolutionizing this space by demystifying marketing and helping them find their early fans,” says Danny Garcia, CEO & Co-Founder at SongTools. “We aim to bring these tools to every person making music. Creativity should be shared, and we make that process simple.”

As SongTools moves forward, it says it is poised to transform the music marketing landscape, offering innovative solutions that help bridge the gap between artistic creativity and commercial success. Details on the lead investors and the funding round designation were not disclosed. SongTools.io’s last funding round was a pre-seed round in 2021. Investors in that pre-seed round include Verena Pausder, Inclusive Ventures Lab, Thomas Vardell, Thijin Lamers, and Lucas Cranach.
