Independent label and artist services arm of WMG, ADA Worldwide, has announced a new global distribution deal with South Coast Music Group (SCMG).

SCMG was founded by music industry veteran Arnold Taylor and is home to some of the hottest rising talent in hip-hop, including Dustystaytrue, DeeYounginn, Luclover, and Big Mali. Taylor founded SCMG in 2014 as an expansion of his South Coast Marketing group. It is backed by an exceptional team and has a proven ecosystem for authentic artist development—helping to launch the careers of DaBaby and Toosii.

“Arnold is an entrepreneur who had a vision and carved his own unique path in the industry,” says Cat Kreidlich, President, ADA Worldwide. “A decade in, and South Coast is thriving. We’re thrilled he’s entrusted ADA to support and grow his business and put our firepower behind the rich talent coming out of the Carolinas. We share a deep love for the music and can’t wait to help these artists break through and connect with fans everywhere.”

“SCMG is excited to begin our partnership with ADA,” adds Taylor. “Their goals, persistence, drive, and perseverance match our SCMG brand. This will only strengthen our journey to success we are embarking on.”

South Coast Music Group has become a breeding ground for up-and-coming hip-hop acts hailing for the Carolinas, supporting recent releases from artists including TiaCorinen, Goldiie Lux, and more. This partnership with ADA Worldwide marks SCMG’s first partnership with a globally renowned distribution company.

The news comes after ADA’s recent global deals with top independent labels such as 10K Projects and Rostrum Records, adding to an already impressive list of partners that includes Sub-Pop, VP Records, Mute, Chocolate City, and many more.

This past year, ADA has also supported major releases from rising stars around the globe who have seen strong runs on the charts including, Latin Grammy winner Quevedo, Bellakath, Bennett, Ayvila, and many more. In addition, ADA spearheaded notable partnerships for Daft Punk’s catalog with TikTok and Peloton.
