Billie Eilish TikTokers

Billie Eilish is seemingly surprised at the amount of TikTokers at the People’s Choice Awards, leading to some choice responses from — who else? — TikTokers. So what did Billie Eilish say about TikTokers, anyway?

When Billie Eilish showed up at the People’s Choice Awards on Sunday night, she was evidently surprised by the amount of TikTokers that had been invited, turning to pop legend Kylie Minogue and saying (quietly, I might add, but that didn’t stop attendees’ phones from picking up the audio) — “There’s some like, TikTokers here.”

That clip went viral on social media, leading onlookers to wonder if any big name TikTok creators might speak up about it. And now, that moment has come: TikToker Bryce Hall has addressed the drama with a video, naturally posted to TikTok.

“I’m just going to address this clip of Billie Eilish being disgusted that TikTokers were at the People’s Choice — I was one of them,” said Hall. “First off, Billie Eilish, I am so sorry that I didn’t acknowledge your greatness and bow down to you being another human being,” he added, before sarcastically bowing down. “And second, People’s Choice invited us. Personally. Everyone that attended People’s Choice and were sitting at those tables, we were invited by People’s Choice. So, hate on them.”

Bryce then asserts that the “most sad thing” was that he was a Billie Eilish stan. “I stanned you, Billie Eilish. And now I don’t think I can renegade to any of your songs anymore, so thanks for taking out all my content,” he bitingly concluded, leaving many to assume the whole video was satirical — although Hall was undoubtedly irked at the apparent slight in the first place. Otherwise, why make the video at all?

Whether or not Bryce Hall is wholly serious, Cosmopolitan summed it up best, noting, “Kinda seems like this video is satire — but honestly, who can tell? So guess Billie and Bryce are tentatively feuding.”
