Green River Festival Enlists Mt. Joy, Courtney Barnett and More For 2025 Gathering, Shares Initial Artist Lineup

Green River Festival has shared the list of initial musical guests for its 39th annual gathering, which will be held June 20-22 at Franklin County Fairgrounds in Greenfield, Mass. 2025 headliners Mt. Joy, Courtney Barnett, and Waxahatchee will take peak slots on the artist lineup, atop a list of fellow contributors MJ Lenderman & The Wind, Julien Baker & TORRES, and more.  

The essential Western Massachusetts gathering will boast three different stages, allowing festival-goers opportunities to meander the grounds and experience a variety of artists. Beyond Green River Festival’s 2025 headliners and acts above that assumed higher positions on the event bill, the initial artist lineup includes LA LOM, Kabaka Pyramid, BALTHVS, Ocie Elliott, and Kathleen Edwards.

Futurebirds, Mo Lowda & The Humble, Grace Bowers & The Hodge Podge, Chaparelle, AJ Lee & Blue Summit, Olive Klug, and Merce Lemon fill out the initial guest slots, with more to come by way of added talent after the New Year. According to the event’s official press release, Green River Festival will host 40 musical guests in total during its upcoming iteration. 

In addition to various artists, the occasion will showcase the best local food, beer, and wine, offering folks the opportunity to procure handmade crafts at The Makers Market. Green River Festival is a family-friendly event offering a wide range of kid activities, camping and more.

The full artist lineup will be announced in early 2025, at which time single and 2-day tickets will also be available for purchase.
