Zach Bryan to play three huge US shows in 2025 with Kings Of Leon
Zach Bryan has announced a run of three huge shows to take place next summer in the US, where he will be joined by Kings Of Leon.
The country star will headline the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, just miles from New York City, on July 18, 19 and 20, 2025, with the first two shows being added due to high demand.
Find any remaining tickets to the shows at the huge outdoor stadium, home to the New York Giants and New York Jets, here.
Bryan posted on Instagram about the shows: “Always been a dream to play MetLife Stadium, so we’re doin it with Kings of Leon.”
“Underneath the stars, where we parked the cars. Ain’t showing signs of stopping. New York City we’re coming for ya.”
Announcing the extra dates, he added: “THIRD AND FINAL SHOW ADDED DUE TO OVERWHELMING DEMAND. SEE YOU GUYS IN OUR CITY”
It comes after Bryan announced a second show at London’s BST Hyde Park 2025, also due to phenomenal demand. He will be playing on June 28 and 29, his first UK festival headlining slots and exclusive performances in the country for 2025. Find tickets for the shows here.
In other news, Bryan’s 2023 criminal case is now closed after he completed his deferred prosecution agreement. He had been arrested last year on charges of obstruction of investigation after getting “too lippy” with a police officer.
Kings Of Leon, meanwhile, recently wrapped up the North American leg of their ‘Can We Please Have Fun’ world tour. At a show in Calgary, they dug deep to perform a version of ‘Joe’s Head’ from 2003 debut album ‘Youth & Young Manhood’ for the first time in 16 years.
They released their ninth studio album, ‘Can We Please Have Fun’, back in May. In a four-star review, NME wrote: “This is easily KOL’s most promising, liberated record for over a decade but still surprisingly restrained in places.
“Can they have fun? Yes it appears, in places, but they could have had a whole lot more.”
Speaking to NME earlier this year, Caleb Followill reflected on his relationship with the group’s huge 2008 hit ‘Sex On Fire’. “I didn’t want it on the album [‘Only By The Night’],” he said. “But I knew it was… good.”
He continued: “I knew it had potential, but I felt like there were other songs… I knew instantly: ‘Everyone’s gonna hear this and they’re not gonna listen to the rest of [the album]’.”
Drummer Nathan Followill added: “It’s kind of like a nickname. Someone gives you a nickname and you act like you hate it… you are stuck with that for the rest of your life. Ask our cousin, Nacho.”
