Last night, TV on the Radio closed their four-show celebration at New York’s Webster Hall. The shows, which celebrated the 20th anniversary of the indie-rock group’s debut Desperate Youth, Blood Thirsty Babes, were their first public performances since 2019. Before the Webster Stand officially kicked off, TV on the Radio also turned in a surprise show at Queens, NY’s TV Eye on November 24.

During Saturday’s performance, saxophonist Stuart Bogie, known for his work with Antibalas, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead and Arcade Fire, also sat in throughout the group’s set. Bogie has contributed to several TV on the Radio records and was a touring member of the ensemble in 2008 and 2009. TV on the Radio’s current lineup includes Tunde Adebimpe, Kyp Malone, Jaleel Bunton and David Sitek, though the latter musician opted not to join the current tour. Dave Smith, another member of the Antibalas family, and Jahphet Landis are filling out the touring lineup.

TV on the Radio’s next show will take place at Los Angeles’ El Rey Theatre on December 4.
