Coldplay’s Chris Martin and Johnny Buckland to perform intimate charity gig in London

Coldplay‘s Chris Martin and Johnny Buckland are set to perform an intimate charity gig in London.

The band announced the one-off performance yesterday (December 7), revealing that the duo will perform this Tuesday (December 10) at Hackney Church to raise funds for Crisis.

Tickets to the event are exclusively available via a prize draw, now open to all UK residents. You can apply for the draw here. All proceeds from the draw will go towards Crisis’s work helping those in the UK experiencing homelessness.

The draw will close at 12noon GMT on Monday (December 9), with randomly selected applicants – who will each be granted a pair of tickets – to be notified the same afternoon.

All tickets will be strictly non-transferable and winners will be required to show photo ID to gain entry.

On Friday (December 6), Coldplay shared a music video for the single ‘All My Love’, starring acting legend Dick Van Dyke.

The band previously debuted the song during a concert in Athens, and later frontman Chris Martin was spotted in Las Vegas singing the track at a karaoke bar while donning a thinly veiled disguise.

It later turned out that the undercover antics were actually the filming of a music video, which arrived in the start of October, and the song was shared as part of their latest album ‘Moon Music’.

In an interview with Coldplay, Martin shared more details on if the band are still planning on ending their catalogue after 12 albums: “The 12 album thing is very real, and it’s a nice feeling. It doesn’t mean we won’t tour or finish some compilation things or outtakes or whatever. It just means that the main story is told. That’s just what feels really right. Just knowing that’s happening supercharges all the work we’re doing now.”

Later in the discussion, he revealed that the deadline has led to the members having “more hunger” in their approach, and determined to make sure they don’t “dilute” anything they put forward.  He also reassured fans that by the time the 12th album is complete, “everything will make sense” in terms of Coldplay’s story.
