FYI.AI is debuting its ‘Convos’ YouTube series, which sees artists and creatives engage in one-on-one, unscripted conversation with an AI persona inside the FYI.AI app.

Artists share their stories, inspiration, and thoughts on current events and the projects they’re currently working on. The AI is capable of exchanging ideas and offering insight, resulting in an engaging conversation between a human and the AI. The series concludes each video with an intimate performance in which the artist gets real-time feedback from the AI to help bring their creative vision to life.

The first series of ‘Convos’ debuted on December 3 and features guests including Jason Derulo, Imogen Heap, and Black Eyed Peas members apl.de.ap, Taboo, and will.i.am; Hit-Boy, X-Eyee, Dee-1, Buddy, Brother Ali, DJ Hed, Austin Brown, and more.

The FYI.AI YouTube channel has been releasing these ‘Convos’ series each week in December with videos from Sndtrak, GoGo Morrow, Hit-Boy, and Buddy already available. Each ‘Convos’ video showcases how artists can use FYI.AI to bounce ideas off of while maintaining their creative flow.

FYI stands for ‘Focus Your Ideas’ and it’s intended to be used as a productivity tool for artists and creatives. The app allows creatives to organize their work into projects, generate content with FYI.AI, chat with collaborators and team members in a dedicated space, share photos, videos, audio files, and more, make and receive phone calls, schedule events, and secure data with end-to-end encryption.

The collab tool allows audio or video calls with up to 8 participants from any piece of meida content within the app. It also includes a ‘Sync Mode’ feature to control the screen for other viewers and have them synced with your screen as you collaborate. Content Calls can be used for working sessions with a team, giving interactive presentations, or even turning group calls into listening parties for new material.

The idea behind the app is to offer remote creatives the same productivity tools as if they were in the room together. Call History keeps all files shared together, so there’s no missing pitch or audio files discussed on the call. Everything is secured through end-to-end encryption, so not even FYI knows what you’re working on.
