Terrapin Family Band Will Play Alaska in January

Terrapin Family Band have confirmed a pair of shows in Alaska. The ensemble, which grew out of Phil Lesh’s Terrapin Crossroads venue, will perform at Alaska Resort’s Sitzmark Bar & Grill, located about 40 miles outside Anchorage, on January 10 and 11.

The Terrapin Family Band lineup for the shows will bring together regulars Grahame Lesh, Ross James and Alex Koford. Scott Law will sub for Jason Crosby, who is unable to make the gigs. The musicians recently played two Grateful Holiday Shows at Menlo Park, CA’s The Guild Theatre. Dan Lebowitz and Molly Tuttle served as special guests.

The Grateful Dead famously played three shows in Alaska in 1980.
