Phish Cover “L.A. Woman” at The Forum, Marking First Version Since 2003

On Sunday, Oct. 24, Phish embraced the L.A. vibe at The Forum in Inglewood, Calif., nodding to The Doors with their first “L.A. Woman” since Dec. 30, 2003 (show gap: 492).

Other highlights include an early “You Enjoy Myself,” which followed opener “A Wave of Hope.”

The evening was also full of unfinished jams – according to Phish.net “Moma Dance,” “Say It To Me S.A.N.T.O.S.,” “Birds of a Feather,” “Chalk Dust Torture” and “Mr. Completely” were all cut prematurely, however teases of those songs (and others) ran rampant.

After a set two opening “Cars Trucks Buses,” “Tweezer” also gave way to some killer segments, before the band circled back to “Tweezer Reprise” to end the second set.

Phish encored with “Grind” and “Bathtub Gin.” Their tour will continue on Oct. 26 at the Santa Barbara Bowl.
