BPM Festival launches Brazilian offshoot for 2022BPM Festival

Right off the coast in the city of Camboriú, Santa Catarina, renowned BPM Festival is expanding to Brazil and set to touch down for its inaugural event come this February 25 – 27. Happily lining up with the annual hedonism of Brazil’s Carnival celebration, the new festival will take place at Surreal, a brand new multipurpose artistic complex opening on December 26, 2021, founded by dance music and nightclub visionary, Renato Ratier.

Initially launched in Playa del Carmen, Mexico in 2008 before pivoting to Portugal and eventually Costa Rica, the lauded festival event continues to expand on its knack for laying roots in party-primed locales, already having been hosted iterations everywhere from Tel Aviv to Ibiza to Bali. The Costa Rican edition of BPM will return to the tropical escape January 12 – 18 with an exceptional lineup of close to 200 producers.
