Goose Reschedule Goosemas Due to COVID-19 Exposure

Goose have announced that their annual holiday show Goosemas, previously scheduled for this Saturday, Dec. 18, at the Mohegan Sun Arena, in Uncasville, Conn., has been postponed until Feb. 26. The band stated the cancelation is due to a touring party member testing positive for COVID-19.

The band wrote, “We are absolutely heartbroken to relay the news that we have to reschedule this Saturday’s Goosemas show… Though the band and crew have been following all safety precautions, a member of our touring party tested positive for COVID-19 and we must take every precaution to put the health and safety of our fans and crew first.”

All tickets for the event will be honored for the new date, and a 30 day Ticketmaster refund window has opened for those who cannot make it to the rescheduled event. The band asked fans to contact the point of purchase for refunds. Hotel reservations at Mohegan Sun cannot be transferred and cancelations must be made before midnight to days before the reservation to avoid a penalty of the first night’s room plus tax.

The band added “We are just as upset as all of you and we are endlessly grateful for any and all who bought tickets and made extensive arrangements to come to this year’s Goosemas celebration. It means so much to all of us. With that in mind, we are wholly committed to putting this show on in full form.”
