Though he’s got but two originals to his credit, ELAC has ensured that each of his career-launching productions come with a certain impact. After debuting on No Mana and EDDIE‘s mau5trap-issued Electromag compilation in early September, the ascendant Aussie act finds an answer to his first official one-off in “Prison of You.”

Clocking in at a nearly five-minute run time, “Prison of You” lets the bassline lead ELAC’s second all-time single. Stylistically, the “Blare” follow-up takes cues from electro-house’s earlier configurations in a contemporary club- and festival-minded framework. The bassline hammers and the energy jolts in “Prison of You,” which, all in all, offers another early look at ELAC’s electro-fueled ingenuity.
