Special Episode: High Sierra Music Festival Launches Podcast

Stream the first two episodes of the podcast celebrating 30 years of HSMF.

High Sierra Music Festival premiered a podcast in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the annual event. HSMF 2022 returns to Plumas County Fairgrounds in Quincy, California June 30 – July 3, 2022 with headliners Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Greensky Bluegrass and The Disco Biscuits among the many acts scheduled to perform.

JamBase has long had close ties with HSMF, and we’re excited about its return after being postponed for the past two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The host of the High Sierra Podcast is Grandstand Stage emcee Tim Lynch, a friend of JamBase who is our regular campground neighbor.

The recently launched first podcast episode featured Lynch interviewing a pair of musicians who will perform at HSMF 2022. Episode One, which can be heard today on The JamBase Podcast channel, features Lynch’s interviews with Tim Carbone of Railroad Earth, as well as bluegrass luminary Peter Rowan. Episode Two presents an interview Lynch conducted with Afrobeat icon Femi Kuti.
