Vallis Alps will officially launch their debut album, Cleave, at theatre and club venues along Australia’s east coast in March 2024. Vallis Alps’ Parissa Tosif and David Ansari will be supported at all shows by Ashwarya. To coincide with the tour announcement, the band have shared the GAUCI remix of the Cleave single ‘Start Again’ – find it below.

The Cleave tour kicks off at 170 Russell in Naarm/Melbourne on Wednesday, 13th March, followed by The Triffid in Meanjin/Brisbane on Thursday, 14th and Eora/Sydney’s Metro Theatre on Friday, 15th.

Vallis Alps – ‘Start Again’ (GAUCI Remix)

Vallis Alps took Cleave on the road around the USA in September and October, playing shows in Philadelphia, D.C., New York, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco and LA. The duo’s most recent Australian headline shows took place in March 2023 following a six-year absence.

The pair devoted much of that time to working on Cleave, which combines electronic production with indie spirit and pop melody. Tosif and Ansari worked on the record from their respective home bases of Sydney and Los Angeles, and Cleave is a testament to their enduring friendship and willingness to navigate the turbulence of adult life together.

Earlier this month, Tosif and Ansari supported Dermot Kennedy at the Sydney Opera House Forecourt and Riverstage in Brisbane.
