Prior to the global COVID-19 pandemic, one of LA’s more enduring recent holiday traditions was IHEARTCOMIX teaming up with Brownies & Lemonade for LA Gives Back. Benefitting a number of local charities dedicated to combating the homelessness crisis here in Los Angeles, LA Gives Back has previously taken over CatchOne club in Midtown Los Angeles and consistently delivered a holiday party for the ages. Now, after three years off, LA Gives Back is returning to CatchOne on Wednesday, December 20.

Despite having been off the past couple years after a virtual edition in 2020, this will actually be the sixth edition of LA Gives BACK. Originating back in 2016, past headliners have included Bonobo, TOKiMONSTA, Boys Noize, A-Trak, SNL’s Sarah Sherman, JPEGMafia, Louis The Child, Tim Heidecker & Weyes Blood, Eric André, Flying Lotus etc, and more who have played to a sold-out crowd. Every year, IHC mobilizes the LA creative community to raise crucial funds for local organizations that combat homelessness year round with 100% of profits going to Downtown Women’s Center, My Friend’s Place, and MásForMore.

“For Brownies & Lemonade, LA Gives Back is a very important annual event that we didn’t want to lose in our post-pandemic world. Bringing LA’s music scene together again, with a stellar lineup, to raise money for the homelessness crisis in our city is imperative and it always make the holidays actually feel like a season of giving.

We’re excited for LAGB to return and become a tradition for a new generation of LA music fans, and hopefully it brings more awareness to this devastating human issue all-year round.” – B&L

This year’s edition is appropriately titled The Return, tickets for this event are sure to fly fast, especially once the artists for the event are announced tomorrow morning. Get your tickets here.
