Delta Blues Explosion and Anders Osborne Birthday Bash Added to Nolafunk’s 11th Annual Series at Jazz Fest

Two new events have been added to the Nolafunk’s upcoming series–marking their 11th year of curation–on both weekends of New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival 2024 in New Orleans on April 25-28 and May 2-5. On the docket are Delta Blues Explosion and Anders Osborne’s NOLA Birthday Bash, which will happen over the first and second weekends, respectively. 

The first event, dubbed Delta Blues Explosion, is set to take place on Saturday, April 27, at the Fillmore New Orleans. The occasion will feature musicians such as Samantha Fish and special guest Kenny Wayne Shepherd, as well as Tab Benoit, Eric Gayles and Sierra Green & the Giants. 

Then latter event, Anders Osborne’s NOLA Birthday Bash, will happen on Saturday, May 4, at the Civic Theatre in the Crescent City. The event celebrates Osborne’s 35 years at Jazz Fest and features special guests and longtime collaborators Luther Dickinson, Jackie Greene, and George Porter Jr., with more guests to be announced. 

Nolafunk presale tickets will be available on Dec. 21, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. CT and general sale tickets will be available on December 22, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. CT.
