moe., Umphrey’s McGee and More to Take Part in Summer Camp’s New Festival Concept: Solshine Reverie

Following up on Summer Camp Music Festival’s early-December format shift to the new festival concept, Solshine: A Music and Arts Reverie, the creators behind the impending event have shared the first wave of artists that will take part during the May 24 through 26 gathering at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, Ill. 

Continuing Summer Camp’s long-standing tradition, Solshine: A Music & Arts Reverie will be co-hosted and headlined by moe. and Umphrey’s McGee. Other veteran players from past Summer Camp lineups include Goose, Big Gigantic, STS9 and SLANDER. 

First-time headliners The String Cheese Incident, John Summit and deadmau5, will also be included, as well as Summer Camp favorites, like Mihali, Keller Williams, Big Something, lespecial, Doom Flamingo, Eggy and more. 

The artist lineup also boasts Goose offshoot, Orebolo, Barclaw Crenshaw,  Allie Kral, Armchair Boogie, Black Carl!, Brainchild, Chicago Farmer & The Fieldnotes, DJ Marb Menthols, Formerly The Fox, Jason Leech, Late Night Radio, Moon Hooch, MZG, Old Shoe, Phyphr, Polyrhythmics, Rendr, Saxsquatch, Steady Flow, Sun Stereo, TAND, VCTRE and Vibeline.

In addition to the first round of artist additions, the folks behind the impending occasion unveiled that before the official launch, Solshine will commence with a pre-party, slated for Thursday, May 23. Besides its music programming, the Solshine will offer a variety of workshops, food and craft vendors, and activities.

All Solshine tickets include camping. There are a variety of additional add-ons available including VIP upgrades as well as RV and car camping spots. The VIP upgrade includes exclusive amenities, access to the Thursday pre-party, VIP camping and viewing areas, VIP lounge, air-conditioned bathrooms, and more.
