All The Winners At The 2024 ARIA Awards – Troye Sivan And Royel Otis Take Out Top Gongs

The winners of the 2024 ARIA Awards have been announced during the ceremony at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion last night (November 20th). Troye Sivan has taken out the top prize of Album Of The Year for the first time in his career for his third album Something To Give Each Other, following nominations for his two previous albums Blue Neighbourhood and Bloom. The Perth-born popstar also took out the Best Solo Artist award, as well as Best Pop Release. The full list of this year’s nominees and winners can be found below.

Sydney indie-rock duo Royel Otis also won big, taking out both Best Group and Best Rock Album for their acclaimed debut Pratts & Pain. The band’s producer, Chris Collins, also picked up two awards for his work on the album, for Best Produced Release and Best Engineered Release. The duo were nominated for a total of eight awards, leading the list of nominees by a considerable margin.

Troye Sivan – ‘One Of Your Girls’

Other first-time winners included Teen Jesus & The Jean Teasers, who won this year’s Breakthrough Artist gong, and Sydney hardcore band Speed, who took out the Hard Rock/Heavy Metal category. Performances on the night included Best Hip-Hop/Rap Release winners 3%, Hall Of Fame inductee Missy Higgins, Best Independent Artist winner Angie McMahon and American alternative rock band the Pixies, who are in town supporting Pearl Jam and played across the road at Sydney’s Liberty Hall that night. The band wore t-shirts of ARIA Hall of Famers such as Nick Cave, AC/DC and the Hoodoo Gurus during their performance of their signature song ‘Where Is My Mind?’
