Big Head Todd and the Monsters Share Plan for 40th Anniversary at Red Rocks with Warren Haynes Band, Bill Murray and More

Big Head Todd and the Monsters have outlined plans to celebrate its 40th anniversary over two nights, June 7 and 8, 2025, at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colo. The forthcoming gigs represent the band’s continued venue legacy and the 37th time they have returned to the Rocky Mountain State concert location. 

Before the group makes their way to Red Rocks, they will warm up on Thursday, June 5, at Las Colonias in Grand Junction, Colo., where they will share a co-headlining bill with Cheap Trick, who will follow BHTM to the Garden of the Titans on Saturday, June 7, and serve as support along with Cracker. 

“We are honored to be sharing the stage with Cheap Trick,” the band expressed via press release. “I cannot wait to see this iconic band in such an awe-inspiring setting.”

Following up on their warm-up and night one at Red Rocks, Big Head Todd and the Monsters will continue its 40th-anniversary celebration on Sunday, June 8, receiving support from the Warren Haynes Band and actor/comedian Bill Murray and his Blood Brothers: Albert Castiglia, and Mike Zito.

BHTM’s four-decade anniversary arrives after a productive year for the ensemble, who released its 12th studio album, Her Way Out, on May 31, 2024, and dotted the year with an extensive touring schedule that alludes to their road dog status.
