Billy Strings and Chris Thile to Appear on ‘CBS Saturday Morning’

Billy Strings and Chris Thile will come together this weekend for a special appearance on CBS Saturday Morning’s Saturday Sessions series. The joint televised stint will air on Feb. 3, following the pair’s concert with the New York Philharmonic at the Lincoln Center in New York City on Thursday, Feb. 1.

Strings and Thile’s CBS Saturday Morning appearance follows a similar presentation to other musical deliveries on the early morning news and entertainment program. The pair shared a tease of their instrumental back-and-forth via Instagram on Wednesday, Jan. 31.

Prior to Strings and Thile’s Saturday gig, they will participate in the 65th Street Sessions tomorrow, Thursday, Feb. 1. Previous performances have featured Thile performing with Louis Cato, Meshell Ndegeocello, Sarah Jarosz, Cory Wong, Madison Cunningham and others. 

CBS Saturday Morning airs on Saturday, Feb. 3.
