Broken Social Scene Announce B-Side Collection, Share Single “This House Is On Fire”

Today Toronto indie rock band Broken Social Scene announced they’ll be releasing an album of career-spanning B-sides, outtakes, and rarities pulled from two decades of 7-inch vinyl, soundtracks, compilations and obscure releases.

Broken Social Scene have aptly titled the collection Old Dead Young: B-Sides & Rarities and the offering is due to release on Jan. 14, 2022. In conjunction with the announcement the band have shared a single off the record titled “This House Is On Fire.” The single is a slow-burning dream-pop track that was recorded during the band’s 2009 Forgiveness Rock Record sessions.
