Brooke Boney and Tommy Little to Host the 2023 ARIA Awards
TV presenter Brooke Boney and comedian Tommy Little have been locked in to host the 2023 ARIA Awards. The pair will take the reins at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion, on Gadigal land, on Wednesday 15th November.
Boney began her career at NITV and triple j before stepping into the role of news and entertainment reporter at Today on Channel Nine, while Tommy has been a regular on TV screens and radio for years – his most recent comedy special, Pretty Fly for a Dickhead, was released on Prime Video in April.
Kylie Minogue: ‘Padam Padam’
“Brooke Boney and I are the perfect Yin and Yang,” Little said in a statement. “She is professional, articulate and extremely hardworking, so I guess I will just do the other bits. I absolutely love Australian music but I am also tone deaf, so this is the closest I will ever get to an ARIA and I can’t wait.”
The full list of nominees for the 2023 ARIA Awards was revealed in September, with Genesis Owusu grabbing seven nods for his latest album STRUGGLER. Dom Dolla, G Flip and Troye Sivan all scored six nominations, Budjerah and DMA’S got five, and King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard and Kylie Minogue both got four.
