Can’d Aid Launches Benevolent Bazaar, Featuring Rare Fishin’ With a Musician Opportunity

Can’d Aid–the national nonprofit organization that provides music experiences, educational opportunities, and instruments to underserved youth to inspire the next generation of artists–has launched its third annual online benefit auction. The Benevolent Bazaar is underway and open to the public through the end of the day on December 16, 2024.

As a highlight of the charity auction, members from headlining acts such as the Steep Canyon Rangers, Kitchen Dwellers, Tyler Childers’ Food Stamps, and The Infamous Stringdusters will donate their time through the Fishin’ With a Musician offering. This rare opportunity grants fans the chance to bid on 21 different fishing trips, ranging from floats, bass casting, crabbing, and more, all of which support the charitable mission of Can’d Aid’s intent.

In addition to the auction’s Fishin’ With Musician listings, the Benevolent Bazaar includes exemplary items and unique experiences, from travel and live music opportunities to guitars signed by Paul Simon and Tyler Chiders, art, outdoor adventure, and more.

Can’d Aid’s commitment to fostering the next generation of musicians and supporters of the arts is harnessed in their work to donate over 3,800 instruments to public school music programs through the help of a wide range of touring musicians, dubbed TUNES ambassadors. These individuals donate their time by supporting students via in-person workshops, live music performances, donation gatherings, and initiatives like Fishin’ With a Musicians.

Speaking about his involvement with Can’d Aid, which commenced in 2014, Steep Canyon Rangers’ Graham Sharp offered, “It is a truly memorable experience to see the look on the children’s faces when you start to play at the donation events knowing that for many of these kids, this is their first live-music experience. Fishin’ With a Musician is a unique experience where we get to enjoy a day on the water with our fans while ensuring Can’d Aid can continue to provide music to children for years to come.”

The Benevolent Bazaar, featuring Fishin’ with a Musician, is open until [end of day, midnight MT] December 16, 2024. Bid now.
