Cold Night For Alligators Have Released A Sprawling New Song ‘Thin Line’

Quite simply, a massive track.

Cold Night For Alligators have shared a new track, and it’s yet another sprawling epic.

It’s called ‘Thin Line’ and darts between crushing technical bounce and soaring arena-ready melody. 

It’s beautiful and brutal and everything in between.

Vocalist Johan Pedersen had this to say about the song:

“During the writing of the album, I became a father for the first time under quite dramatic circumstances. It was a time of extreme uncertainty and a huge emotional rollercoaster.

The lyrics for “Thin Line” are about taking a moral inventory during this time and while settling into my new identity as a parent – considering my flaws and past failures, the example I was setting and how to improve. Paradoxically, this was a quite lonely journey, but I found a lot of release creating music and lyrics around it.

 This record is about us growing up and finding ourselves, and this was the quintessential experience for me during the whole process. It’s a heavy theme, but I’m very happy with how it came out.

The lyric video mirrors this – there’s no quick fix on this topic, so we went for a static, contemplative and tense mood.”
