Dark Star Jubilee Outlines 2024 Lineup: Dark Star Orchestra, Greensky Bluegrass and More

Dark Star Orchestra’s festival, Dark Star Jubilee, has announced the lineup for its celebration is set to take place at Legend Valley in Thornville, Ohio, on May 24-26. The event will see three nights of performance from the jubilee’s curators along with a melange of talent united by the power of improvision.

Along with Dark Star Orchestra, the event will feature soundwaves courtesy of Greensky Bluegrass, Melvin Seals & JGB, Daniel Donato, Jennifer Hartswick, Jeff Mattson & Friends, Rumpke Mountain Boys, Holly Bowling, Pimps of Joytime and Barefuzz. Additionally, the event has six more bands ready to add to the lineup at a later date.

Additionally, the Grateful Guitars Foundation is bringing four historical guitars played by the Grateful Dead, including Jerry Garcia’s Alligator and the Martin D-28 acoustic Garcia used when recording American Beauty, to this year’s gathering.
