Dawes Expand Christmas in LA Concert Lineup with Guest Additions

Folk rock ensemble Dawes announced its plans for the impending holiday season in mid-October. The band, which consists of Taylor Goldsmith, Griffin Goldsmith, and Lee Pardini, shared that they will host a celebratory night of music dubbed Christmas In L.A. With Dawes & Friends, on Dec. 9 at Los Angeles’ The Bellwether. Now, the group behind the event has tacked on special guest additions.

The first round of artist additions to the holiday affair included Panic! At The Disco’s Mike Viola, Goldsmith’s significant other Mandy Moore, and Sam Nelson from X Ambassadors. Days later, the band followed up with more guests, like My Morning Jacket’s Jim James and Bo Koster, in addition to DJ Matthew Koma.

Serving as the third round of artist additions, Dawes unveiled earlier today that Madison Cunningham, Blake Mills, Simon Dawes, and more have been added to the schedule. The band also shared that the group’s studio manager and pal, Simon Singer, will provide the night’s introduction. 

Moreover, the impending night of music will represent the first time since 2007 that Blake Mills and Simon Dawes have rejoined the group for a live show. Adding to the intrigue of past members coming forth to play together again, the band also mentioned that Wylie Gelber will participate.
