Dream Riders: Celebrating the Music of Gregg Allman

On Sunday, December 29, New Orleans’ Maple Leaf will present an evening of music associated with an Allman Brothers band co-founder. Billed as Dream Riders: Celebrating the Music of Gregg Allman, the night will feature a mix of local NOLA musicians and players drawn from Allman’s orbit. The Dream Riders band will include Gregg Allman Band keyboardist Peter Levin as well as Terence Higgins, Terrence Houston, Noah Young, JB Strauss and Quincey Meeks. Papa Mali will serve as a special guest.

Looking ahead, Levin will also honor The Allman Brothers Band when he regroups with Trouble No More for two shows at Denver, CO’s Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom. The gigs will take place on January 3 and 4.
