ekoostik hookah to Span Career at Hookahville 60

On June 5-7, 2025 ekoostik hookah will bring Hookahville to a new locale. Hookahville 60 will take place at Roost on The River in Newark, OH. This is 26-acre venue that may well end up becoming the new permanent home for the event.

The 60^th installment of the bi-annual festival will celebrate the various stages of the host band’s career. On Thursday June 5, ekoostik hookah will be performing two sets from the “1.0 era” (1991 1996, 2006- 2009) via songs from founding member John Mullins (who passed away in 2017), with his vocals performed by Nat Reeb. Hearkening back to the first Hookahville in 1994, Ed McGee will play a solo-acoustic set to open the show. Then on Friday, June 6, McGee will join the group for two sets from the “2.0 era” (1996-2006). Finally, on Saturday, the current lineup of ekoostik hookah will perform two sets.
