Elvis Costello and Steve Nieve have announced a duo tour in the United States for early 2025. With 15 confirmed dates across the Northeast and Midwest states through the transition into spring, the new wave combo’s latest outing builds on a longstanding history of collaboration and celebrates the iconic offerings they’ve shared from the late ’70s through today.

Costello and Nieve will begin their stateside excursion on Feb. 19 with a staging at the State Theatre Center for the Arts in Easton, Pa. From this outset, they’ll find their way through the Mid-Atlantic with performances at Red Bank, N.J.’s Count Basie Center for the Arts, Wilmington, Del.’s Grand Opera House and Montclair, N.J.’s Wellmont Theatre on Feb. 21, 22 and 24. The duo will land in the Empire State on Feb. 27 for a staging at Port Chester, N.Y.’s storied The Capitol Theatre, then bounce to Beverly, Mass.’s The Cabot on March 1, followed by a northernmost stand at Portsmouth, N.H.’s The Music Hall on March 2.

The artists will hike down to Woodstock, N.Y. for a two-night run at the newly reopened Bearsville Theater on March 4 and 5, then wrap their Northeast leg with a follow-up at Buffalo, N.Y.’s UB Center for the Arts on March 7. They’ll reappear in the Midwest on the following evening, assuming the spotlight at Ann Arbor, Mich.’s Michigan Theatre on March 8. To wrap the run, Costello and Nieve will take to the Windy City for a three-night residency at Chicago’s Park West on Mar. 11-13. Throughout the 2025 tour, the duo will welcome accompaniment from the eclectic backing band of Eleanor Whitmore on fiddle, Tony Garnier on double bass, Shaye Cohn on cornet and McKeon on Uilleann pipes.

Costello and Nieve can trace their collaboration back to 1977, when the two first joined forces as bandmates in the Attractions. Since then, they’ve appeared together on over 25 recordings and performed regularly worldwide. They launched their first two-man shows in 1995. and embarked on “The Lonely World Tour” in 2003. Their forthcoming outing follows the return of their duet stagings on the 2023 and 2024 world tour, touching many corners of the world from Barcelona’s Palau de la Música to the Opera House, Budapest’s Béla Bartók Concert Hall and the Paris Philharmonie, before visiting Japan and playing a sold-out three show finale in Tokyo. The British born-and-bred duo had a U.K. homecoming during their 2024 run, with two sold-out concerts at the London Palladium and a sold-out four-night run at Dublin’s Vicar Street featuring collaborators like the Brodsky Quartet and Sean McKeon.

Tickets for the duo tour will become available via an artist presale tomorrow, Nov. 20. A general on-sale will follow this Friday, Nov. 22 at 10 a.m. local. For tickets and more information, visit ElvisCostello.com.
