Eric Clapton Announces Forthcoming Single “Heart of a Child”

Eric Clapton is spreading a little holiday cheer this season by announcing he will release a new single, “Heart of a Child,” on Dec. 24 via Bushbranch/Surfdog Records. 

The “Wonderful Tonight” performer is joined on the track by Sonny Emory (drums), Nathan East (bass), Dirk Powell (mandolin), Daniel Santiago (guitar), Pedro Martins (guitar), Simon Climie (keyboard, percussion), Saron White (background vocals), Katie Kissoon (background vocals) in addition to Nick Ingman (string arranger, conductor) and Everton Nelson (string leader). 

Word of Eric Clapton’s forthcoming single comes after Thursday’s news that the musician had successfully sued a German woman who posted a bootleg recording of a Clapton concert from the 1980s on eBay. Read the full story.
