Mick Mars, the former guitarist of Mötley Crüe, premieres his third single, “Undone,” from his highly anticipated debut album “The Other Side Of Mars.” The album is set to be released on February 23 through his own label, 1313 LLC. “The Other Side Of Mars” features contributions from keyboardist Paul Taylor (Winger, ex-Alice Cooper), vocalist Jacob Bunton, drummer Ray Luzier (Korn), and bassist Chris Collier, along with vocalist Brion Gamboa on two songs.

Michael Wagener, who also engineered and mixed Mötley Crüe’s 1981 debut “Too Fast For Love,” produced the effort. Check out “Undone” streaming via YouTube and Spotify for you now below.

Says Mars of Wagener: “I had known him for a long time, and I actually brought him to Mötley. He had such an understanding of where I wanted to go with the material. And he never said ‘Hey, do this,’ or tried to change my mind or anything like that. He was just really adamant about recording what I wanted to record, and making sure we recorded it right.”

Regarding Mick Mars’ legal matters, there has been a recent positive development:

In a hearing on Tuesday, January 16, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge James C. Chalfant ruled that Mars’ former bandmates in Mötley Crüe unjustly “refused” to provide their business reports to Mars. Chalfant asserted that Mötley Crüe should not have delayed the handover of the documents for eight months and ruled that the band is now obligated to cover Mars’ legal expenses.
