Father John Misty announces UK and Ireland tour for summer 2025
Father John Misty has announced a UK and Ireland tour for June and August 2025 – buy tickets here.
The Maryland singer-songwriter shared news of the upcoming tour earlier today (December 3), and he’s set to take in cities including Liverpool, Nottingham, Leeds, Glasgow and Dublin in June and August next year.
The tour will see the singer, real name Joshua Michael Tillman, return to Europe after an earlier tour in April next year, in which he’ll play a series of dates in countries including the UK, France and Germany, with a show at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
Presale begins tomorrow (December 4) at 10am with the code ‘Rattlesnake’, while tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday (December 6) – buy tickets here, and find more information here.
This autumn, Tillman was on tour in North America and showcased a few tracks from his latest album, ‘Mahashmashana‘, which was released on November 22.
NME gave the album a four-star review, writing: “The lush ‘Mahashmashana’ doesn’t quite mainline the zeitgeist in the same way that ‘Honeybear’ and ‘Pure Comedy’ did. Then again, there’s something to be said, in 2024, for logging off in favour of self-reflection.
“On the swooning ‘Mental Health’, Misty rejects the hive mind, concluding that his own particular “insanity” is “indispensable”. Whoever the folk he is underneath that beard, the good Father can’t help but share words of wisdom.”
Father John Misty’s 2025 European and UK tour dates are:

Shortly after releasing ‘Mahashmashana’, Tillman dropped a tongue-in-cheek Kendrick Lamar diss track, ‘God’s Track’ – the rapper dropped a surprise new album, ‘GNX‘, the same day as ‘Mahashmashana’ came out, the fifth time the two artists have released albums on the same day.
He joked on X (Twitter), “Not now I’m furiously scribbling my seeming response to,” and when one fan pointed out, “I’m so sorry that you happened to drop on the worst possible day to drop a new album,” he replied, “It’s okay only other times it’s happened was 2012, 2015, 2017 and 2022.”
