Grateful Dead Fundraising Marathon and Charity Auction to Support Kauaʻi Community Radio

The countdown is now underway for next weekend’s Dead All Day, Dead All Night broadcast on KKCR. This fundraiser will support the non-commercial community radio station, which is based on the island of Kauaʻi in Hawaii. The marathon will kick off next Saturday, January 18 at 7am HST on (9am PT/10am MT/11am CT/12pm ET) and run through midnight HST. Dead All Day, Dead All Night will feature live Dead shows, special musical nuggets from the band’s catalog and exclusive content. Live in-studio performances by local Kauaʻi musicians with special guests will take place from 2-6pm HST (4-8pm PT/5-9pm MT/6-10pm CT/7-11pm ET).

Dead All Day, Dead All Night will stream at kkcr.org and on the Kauaʻi Community Radio app. Folks who donate to the station will have an opportunity to win Grateful Dead books, tropical Dead All Day, Dead All Night t-shirts and stickers. Everyone who offers financial support will be entered into a drawing to receive a year-long subscription to nugs.net. In addition, an auction will take place starting this Monday at noon HST on kkcr.org, featuring limited edition photos and legacy memorabilia.
