Great Blue Reveal Upcoming Wyoming Concert

Great Blue, the progressive indie rock quartet led by Goose’s Peter Anspach, have announced an upcoming performance at The Virginian Lodge in Jackson, Wyo. This marks the band’s first appearance since its booking at Resonance Music Festival in Garrettsville, Ohio on July 1, which was headlined by a total 4 sets from Goose over two days. For this gig, Great Blue will be supported by Wyoming-native jam band Hot Pocket

Multi-instrumentalist Anspach provides lead guitar and vocals for Great Blue, alongside bassist Seth Zucker, percussionist Nick Hanna, guitarist and keyboardist Ethan Michael and additional vocals from all members of the band. Friends and collaborators since high school, Great Blue have released a total of 15 full-length offerings, including four studio albums. News of the band’s upcoming performance breaks a six-month void of new music or engagements from the group, which most recently dropped its Live 2023 album–recorded at Resonance Festival–on August 18. Exuding a sprightly enthusiasm in its experimental arrangements and rambunctious jams, Great Blue continue to amaze audiences after 11 years.
