Electronic drums can be quite a bit quieter than acoustic drums because the sound is contained within the electronic drum module, but the intensity of the music and the room’s insulation can also play a significant role. The human element of playing drums can also cause sound to carry more than electronic drum sounds. With all that being said, it’s possible that neighbors could hear electronic drums if played loudly and especially if the walls are thin or not well insulated.
