A multi-effects processor is an electronic device used by musicians and audio engineers to apply various sound effects to an instrument or voice, simultaneously or in a sequence. These effects can include distortion, equalization, dynamics processing, modulation effects such as chorus, flanger, and phaser, pitch shifting, and reverb. Many modern multi-effects processors also include features such as looper, USB connectivity, and various editing options.
