While there’s no definitive proof that classical music can boost your IQ, it is known to have several benefits. It can enhance your brain’s capacity for focusing, improve your memory, and provide a calming effect that can reduce stress. The misconception, known as the “Mozart Effect,” originated from a 1993 study that suggested listening to classical music temporarily improved individuals’ spatial-temptation scores. However, further research has not consistently supported this claim.
