Johann Sebastian Bach is a composer from the Baroque era. He was born in 1685, during the high baroque period, and died in 1750. His musical style and compositions, such as the Brandenburg Concertos, Orgelbulk, and the Mass in B Minor, show characteristic elements of the Baroque era. These include a clear, logical structure; a distinct tonality; and a highly expressive melodic and harmonic style.
