Do PA speakers need power?

    Yes, PA (Public Address) speakers do require power. They need an external power amplifier to function as they don’t have built-in amplifiers. However, there are some active or powered PA speakers that have built-in amplifiers, but they still need a power source, typically a wall outlet, to operate.
