Reverb in a piano’s sound is the persistence of a sound after it’s been played. It’s the result of the reflection and eventual dissipation of the sound waves as they bounce off the surfaces of the room. So, when we talk about piano reverb, we’re referring to the lingering sound you hear after a note has been played on the piano, which is a blend of the original sound and the echoes it creates in the space around it.
