A MIDI keyboard and a synthesizer are both musical instruments that can be used to produce digital sounds, but they function in different ways.
1. MIDI Keyboard: A MIDI keyboard does not produce sound by itself. Instead, it is a controller that you connect to a computer or other MIDI-capable device via a MIDI cable or USB. It has keys, knobs, and/or pads that you use to send MIDI data to the device, which then generates sound based on that data. The sound depends on the software or virtual instruments installed on the device. MIDI keyboards often lack built-in speakers or amplifiers.
2. Synthesizer: A synthesizer is a standalone instrument that generates sound electronically or digitally. It has built-in speakers or an output for connecting to an amplifier. Synthesizers can be controlled by a keyboard, but
