Singing with earplugs is not as effective as it may be when trying to improve singing or vocal technique. Earplugs are typically used to block outside sounds from entering the ear, but they don’t have a significant effect on hearing or feeling the vibrations of your own voice while singing. In fact, wearing earplugs might make it more challenging to understand and adjust your voice’s nuances and resonance. Instead, there are better and more direct ways to enhance your singing abilities, such as training with a vocal coach, doing vocal exercises, and learning about breath support and resonance.
