Here Comes Sunshine: Dead & Company Announce Spring 2025 Sphere Return to Mark 10-Year Anniversary

On the cusp of winter, Dead & Company is offering a little sunshine by way of their return to Las Vegas’ state-of-the-art Sphere venue. The band, featuring Grateful Dead members Bobby Weir and Mickey Hart alongside John Mayer, Oteil Burbridge, Jeff Chimenti, and Jay Lane, signed on for an 18-show residency beginning in March and lasting through mid-May. Today’s newly announced concerts mark the group’s 10th anniversary.
Dead & Company will continue performing Thursday through Saturday nights in Sin City, following the same performance trajectory as their initial Sphere residency. While only select weeks feature the three-show format, the band will average six monthly concerts, beginning Thursday, March 20, through Saturday, March 22.
They will continue their run by returning the following weekend, March 27-29. Ultimately, Dead & Company will step away from their Sphere responsibilities briefly, only to return in full force for another series of appearances on April 17-19 and April 24-26. The band’s final Las Vegas weekends will take place on May 9-11 and May 15-17.
Dead & Company performed their first concert on October 31, 2015, at New York’s Madison Square Garden. Since their formation, the band has entertained stadium-sized audiences from coast to coast with their interpretations of Grateful Dead covers, a continuation of the time-honored tradition of spacy jam music rebuked of the mainstream standard.
Continuing their kaleidoscope storytelling, which tops four hours in concert form, the band will take full advantage of Sphere’s capacity to co-opt the use of top-of-the-line technologies, including the world’s highest-resolution LED display, for a fully immersive experience. Adding to the draw, Sphere uses the most advanced concert-grade audio system, Sphere Immersive Sound, powered by HOLOPLOT, for unmatched clarity from every seat in the house.
2025 marks a big year for the Grateful Dead and its Dead & Company offshoot. For the original ensemble, which found its roots in 1965, this year brings its 60th anniversary, a triumphant milestone in the wake of mass success and international prestige. Adding to the celebratory nature of the year, Dead & Company will hit a milestone of its own by hitting 10 years of live shows and further cementing its fan-adored status.
Fans are encouraged to sign up for the artist presale here to secure their spot for this highly anticipated residency. The Artist Presale begins Tuesday, Dec. 10 at 10:00 AM PT, with additional presale opportunities starting Thursday, Dec. 12 at 10:00 AM PT.
Advance registration does not guarantee tickets. Travel and VIP packages will also be available starting Thursday, Dec. 5 at 7:00 AM PT here, offering exclusive perks and premium access to the shows.
