Honeyglaze Share Fascinating Single ‘Creative Jealousy’

London trio Honeyglaze return with new single ‘Creative Jealousy’ – tune in now.

The band’s startling debut single landed earlier this year on Speedy Wunderground, an irresistible ear-worm that was nonetheless difficult to define.

Set to play a flurry of support slots alongside hotly tipped indie force Geese and 6Music favourite Katy J Pearson, the three-piece end their year with another single.

Out now, ‘Creative Jealousy’ twists and turns against itself, attempting to find a forward path amid information overload.

The feeling of constant comparison lends an air of intensity, with vocalist and guitarist Anouska commenting:

“‘Creative Jealousy’ came from the feeling of frustration I had during a creative block. I found myself looking around and feeling unable to live up to the high artistic standard set by my peers, not to mention my own expectations. The only thing I could think to do was to make fun of myself.”
