Ian Moss Announces 2025 Solo Australian Tour

Ian Moss has announced a headlining Australian tour, resuming his solo career following Cold Chisel‘s extensive Big Five-O tour concluding next month. Billed as One Guitar, One Night Only, Moss will be performing with a trio across two sets – with press materials noting the tour will see his music “presented in a way you have never seen Mossy before”. Moss, who has maintained a solo career since 1986, released his eighth solo album entitled Rivers Run Dry in July of 2023. The album debuted in the top 20 on the ARIA Albums Chart, and was flanked by the release of three singles: ‘Nullabor Plain’, ‘Open Your Eyes’ and the title track. Moss also sings co-lead on ‘You’ve Got To Move’, Cold Chisel’s new single released back in July that was packaged with the band’s latest retrospective compilation, 50 Years – The Best Of.

Prior to Cold Chisel’s The Big Five-O tour, Moss had spent the majority of 2024 touring both locally and internationally. Kicking off the year with an appearance at Tamworth Country Music Festival, Moss then undertook a four-month Australian tour – which included a slot at this year’s Bluesfest. Moss also made it across to the UK, performing in both Glasgow and London in July.

A pre-sale for the tour commences from 9am local time on Wednesday, November 20th, and can be registered for here. General sale then follows on Friday, November 22nd – again at 9am local time – via Moss’ official website, IanMoss.com.au.
